(Friday Dinner – Monday Breakfast)

Help open Indralaya for the season – spend time with nature as it starts to wake up from its winter rest!  Work in community with others to help get ready for the year!

Remember – we have work for all who would like to join us! The expectation is 5 hours of work per weekend day.

Weather in February can be variable – come prepared with layers and shoes or boots that can tolerate wet, mud and cold!

About Work Parties

Work parties include many types of tasks: kitchen help, garden, grounds, trail clearing, sometimes light construction depending on skills. Mostly participants choose the team they’d like to participate with. The typical schedule looks something like this:

7:25 am – Meditation (optional)
8:00 am – Breakfast
9:15 am – Circle in meadow
9:30-12 pm – First work session
12:30 pm – Lunch
2-4:30 pm – Second work session
6:00 pm – Dinner
7:30 pm – Campfire

Non-local folks stay in cabins, bring their own bedding*, towels, toiletries, and appropriate clothing, boots, etc. Indralaya provides all meals and cabin space.

Meals are vegetarian, using organic products when possible, and using garden produce when available. Vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and other food needs can be accommodated.

*bedding is available to rent @ $40 per person.

Program Fees

$25 per person for the weekend work party.

Registration Instructions

You may register one or more persons in a single registration if you would like to share accommodation. Please note – you may select your preferred accommodation type, and we will try to accommodate, but lodging type is not guaranteed. If you have specific needs, please enter these on the registration form where it asks for specific lodging comments. Be sure to complete the questions asking for our work party skills and preferences.

Cancellations

Reservation cancellations are refundable up to three weeks prior to the work party. No charge for cancellation before January 23.
