Andrea Marquardt-Preiss

Andrea was born in the Black Forest in the southern part of Germany. Her love and passion for movement and its healing capacities for the human being have been guiding her early on her path of continuous learning. In the early 1980s she started out as Physical Therapist working with all ages in medical clinics and private practices. On her path of professional development, Andrea’s inner picture of the human being yearned for something else, and subsequently, she explored Tai Chi, the Feldenkrais Method, and finally she found her true home in Eurythmy and Therapeutic Eurythmy. Eurythmy – founded by Dr. Rudolf Steiner in 1912 – is speech and music made visible through gestures we perform with our arms. As we move to these well-defined gestures and forms, we work back into our organism in harmonizing and healing ways. Andrea has been working in various settings as Therapeutic Eurythmist and Feldenkrais Practitioner, including Seattle Waldorf School (K-12), Waldorf teacher trainings, and her private practice. In addition, she performed on stage with Eurythmy Northwest. Since 2022 she enjoys working with patients in her private practice on Orcas Island, and teaching classes at the Orcas Senior Center and other venues. Andrea currently…

Ann Little

BS, LMT, PTA, QTTT (she/her) I have been a Massage Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant for 32 years. I have also been a volunteer with Hospice since 2023. I was introduced to TT about 10 years ago and began my TT journey in 2018. I was hooked! I continue to take classes, webinars, join practice groups, be on TT committees, participate in TT Dialogues, Congress, Friday global meditation…Always more to learn! My journey with TT and its transpersonal nature creates an environment that lends itself to a deeper knowing of myself, others and the interconnectedness of all things. This knowledge helps me be a better person, practitioner and teacher. TT has become a lifeway for me, and I LOVE to share my passion for TT with others.

April Claxton

A lover of slow, meandering walks, April has always preferred taking her time to spot the tiny bits of nature magic along a trail or finding a spot to sit and just be. Recently, after studying the positive health benefits of time in nature, she began leading forest bathing walks. April is grateful to have learned from practitioners both in Bellingham & in Finland and is a certified Natural Mindfulness Guide. She knows slowing down and taking time to be mindful in nature can open us to wonder, peace, joy and a deeper connection to place and to ourselves.  Learn more at AmongtheTreespnw.com.

Callie French

Callie began studying Tarot in the mid 1960’s, although she has been around the art of cartomancy and divination all her life, with a grandmother who read playing cards and her godmother Ruby-Page Ewer (a founding member of Indralaya) who was well known for her divination in the Theosophical community. In the 1980’s Callie became fascinated with how Tarot links to numerology and the Qabalah (Kabbalah) and began intertwining them into sessions to offer clients a more complete reading. By attending and presenting at Tarot conferences since 2008 in London, UK, New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, West Palm Beach, FL, Dallas, TX and Portland, OR Callie’s methods have been continually honed and updated.

Cordy Anderson

BSN, Retired RN, QTTT (she/her) In 1984 I was beginning my 32-year career as a home health and hospice nurse. Therapeutic Touch magically came into my life as the “what to do when there is nothing else left to help”. Almost immediately I found TT to be an amazing adjunct to my nursing care…to ease someone’s respiratory distress…to relieve phantom pain…to help reduce a fever. Now, in my “retreadment” (a term I learned from Dee) my priorities are to be an involved grandma, teach TT and offer Therapeutic Touch every chance I get. After over 30 years, I know that I am greatly benefitted by each and every TT session. It is my joy to share this experience with others, especially as we explore TT in new ways.

Joel and Michelle Levey

Dr. Joel and Michelle Levey have been guiding summer retreats at Indralaya over the past 27 years. As early pioneers opening new frontiers of contemplative science, deep resilience, optimal performance, and collective wisdom they have touched hearts and opened minds of people in hundreds of leading organizations and communities around the globe for over five decades. Founders of Wisdom at Work and Bodhi Tree EcoDharma Sanctuary, they have dedicated their lives to personal transformation as a catalyst for profound social change. The Leveys have been fortunate to study deeply with many of the most respected researchers of extra-ordinary human potential and contemplative science teachers of our times, including: J. Krishnamurti, Thich Nhat Hahn, Kalu Rinpoche, Lama Tharchin, Brother David Steindl-Rast, Angeles Arrien, Joanna Macy, and many others. The Dalai Lama, an advisor on several of their projects, encouraged the Leveys in their work, saying: “You are presently engaged in work that has great prospects for bringing the inner sciences of transformation to a very wide section of people who may not under ordinary circumstances come into contact with these teachings.” IONS, the Institute of Noetic Sciences, has honored Michelle and Joel as “leading teachers of transformation.” Through their work in the…

Terra Lea Dennis

I first tried yoga at my local gym more than 25 years ago and was surprised at how calm I felt after a session, different than a dance or exercise class. I was curious and quickly hooked! A few years later, I attended one of the first Summer Solstice Yoga Celebrations in Times Square, NYC. It was my first visit to New York City to visit my son, and he said yes when I asked him to go to this outdoor yoga class with thousands of strangers in the middle of the busiest street in the nation maybe—cleared for us, we spread our mats on asphalt, and during that session, we could hear each other breathe, and sounds of traffic felt like a river flow. I was touched by the energy and the focused breath all those people around me, all races, genders and ages. I wanted to help others to feel this sense of being and belonging— of community in the breath. My passion for how I practice mindful movement has changed over the years, but my commitment to leading others in ways that increase flow, energy and joy in their bodies and lives is the same. I started…
