Program Registration Fees
Indralaya Registration fees cover all program, accommodation and meal costs for the program duration.
Rates at Indralaya generally cover about 80% of our actual expenses. We hope this makes program participation more accessible to more people. Our goal each year is to cover the remainder with donations, memberships, and investment income.

Daily Staff
Want to be on Daily Staff and exchange some work for a discounted rate?
Choose the “Daily Staff” (DS) option during registration and we’ll apply a discount to your invoice. You’ll work 3 hours per day on each full day of programming, usually split into two 1.5 hour sessions. The kitchen and garden are usual work spots, although sometimes special projects or your unique skills could offer other options. Available to anyone 13 or older.
Other Charges
Linens
Many participants chose to bring their own bedding and towels. In cabins, Indralaya provides only a bed with mattress cover. Personal linens might include a sleeping bag (or sheets and blanket), pillow, towels. If desired, participants may choose to rent linens (bottom sheet, top sheet, blanket, pillow and pillow case, towels, washcloth) for a fee of $40 per person per program. Select this at registration.
Electric Charging
There is one fast-speed electric vehicle charging station on site. The fee is $5 per program.
Credit Card Fees
On registration, there is an option to add 3% to the total to cover credit card fees. This is much appreciated!
Financial Assistance
You can lower your costs to come to camp by:
- Tent camping with your own gear
- Selecting to sleep in a non-plumbing cabin
- Choosing the Daily Staff option during registration to exchange 3 hours of work for a discounted registration rate.
- Applying for a scholarship
Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships that cover up to 50% of the registration fee are available.
Requirements for a scholarship:
- Accommodation in a non-plumbing cabin
- Sign up for Daily Staff (daily staff tasks are available for participants of all ages (13 and above) and all ability levels and ranges. Daily Staff jobs are tailored to the skills and physical capacities of volunteers.)
Note – each individual can be approved for only one scholarship per program year for a regular program. There is no limit on scholarship applications to apply to work party fees. You will be asked to specify how large a scholarship you would like (up to 50% of the registration fee).
Scholarship applications must be made at least one week before a program start.
